Cancer Center Business Summit
2010 Industry Survey
In Response To Health Reform, Are You Planning To Affiliate, Consolidate, or Integrate With Others?

SURVEY PURPOSE. One anticipated response to national health reform is an increase in activity among oncology stakeholders to affiliate, consolidate or integrate in order to (1) position to be paid on a basis different than current fee-based reimbursement, such as on an episode of care, shared savings, partial or global capitated basis, and/or (2) become better organized to manage oncology care delivered to discrete patient populations. This year, the Annual Cancer Center Business Summit Industry Survey explores the landscape of collaborative activities that are underway or planned between oncologists and other oncology stakeholder organizations.
